1. Work on a time basis
The hourly rate of €90 applies uniformly to all activities – IT support, consulting, setup, troubleshooting and maintenance. For billing, only one thing matters: whether the work is done remotely or on site.

Regular business hours: Mon–Fri 8 am – 6 pm. Surcharge + 50 % outside these hours as well as at weekends and on public holidays (covered within the agreed scope for maintenance customers). Appointments on Saturdays and outside regular hours are available on request (with surcharge).

Travel covers mileage and travel time. Many issues can be resolved by remote maintenance – in which case travel does not apply at all.
3. Ongoing support & flat rates

Included in managed IT support: updates & security patches, monitoring of servers and network, checking of backups, support by phone/email/remote, maintained documentation, on-site visits within the Rhein-Erft district within the agreed scope.
Service contract term: 12 months, then automatic renewal for one further year at a time, notice period 3 months to the end of the term. I offer service contracts for businesses and organizations. Non-profit associations receive the reduced rates set out in Section 4. Contract customers benefit from lower hourly rates as specified in their agreement.
4. Non-Profits & Charitable Organisations
I’m glad to support registered non-profit associations and social institutions with reduced special rates – either as a lower hourly rate or as a plannable service flat rate. A pricing advantage specifically for associations: my prices are exempt from VAT. Where other providers add 19% on top — which you, as a non-profit association, usually cannot reclaim — my quoted price is already the final price. You save that surcharge from the outset. Just get in touch – we’ll find a fair solution to suit your budget.
5. Projects
Defined undertakings (e.g. NAS setup, backup solution, VPN for home office, server migration, Synology cloud setup):
- Fixed-price quote based on scope – you know in advance where you stand.
- For open scope: billed by effort with an agreed upper limit.
- If additional work becomes apparent, I check back beforehand – not afterwards on the invoice.
